Bookings and Payments

  • Consultations are required before all bookings. Please fill out my contact form before proceeding to the booking page.

  • At the time of booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit of the total cost of your shoot is required to secure your appointment date and time. All payments can be made through Zelle or Venmo. The deposit payment means that you have read through and agree with ALL of Afo's Photos policies.

  • The final balance payment is due at the conclusion of the photoshoot, proofs will not be sent out until the remaining balance from the shoot is paid.

Image Files

  • Final edits will be returned to clients in 10 - 14 business days (up to 2.5 weeks) from the day you make your selections. Please know that this only includes Monday-Friday. Holidays and weekends are not considered business days

  • Image proofs are low res images used to allow clients to choose which images they would like edited. These images are watermarked to prevent the client from posting.

  • Any client that wants the high-res unedited images (unwatermarked) from their shoot can purchase them for $150, these images will be delivered in the highest quality jpeg format

  • Images will receive standard retouching or premium retouching. Standard retouching consists of eye and teeth whitening, correcting noticeable flyaways, and ensuring all blemishes and skin is smooth. Premium retouching includes everything in the standard retouch but can also include detailed hair editing and body modification to a certain extent

  • All final edits will be edited with Afo’s Photos signature editing style. The final edit of the images cannot be edited by the client, if there is something you would like changed please let Afo’s Photos know and he will try to accommodate. Failure to adhere to this will result in a ban from booking Afo’s Photos from any future photoshoot.

Photoshoot Etiquette

  • ALL clients and Afo’s Photos are expected to arrive at the photoshoot on time.

  • If Afo’s Photos is late for your shoot he will communicate this with you ahead of time and will still allow you the full amount of time that you have booked for your shoot.

  • A $20 fee will be added to all sessions where the client is 15 minutes late. If the client is late and wants additional time there is a $1.75 fee for each minute over the original end time. This will only be allowed if Afo's Photos does not have another photoshoot after yours.

  • After 20 minutes, the photography session will be canceled and the deposit will not be refunded. In order to reschedule or book a new shoot, a new deposit will need to be paid.

  • All guests and models should come with a professional mindset in order to create the best images possible and not waste any time. Any rude or disrespectful clients or guests will be asked to leave.

Cancellations

  • If you are unable to make your photo session all deposits will act as a cancellation fee. However, the fee can be credited towards a future session (up to 4 months) if the client reschedules the appointment by email 72 hours prior to the date of the session and re-booking at an agreeable date and time. If a time and date cannot be agreed upon, the deposit will serve as just the cancellation fee for the shoot.

  • All clients are granted one opportunity to reschedule up to 7 days before their shoot date without penalty, any other none weather-related rescheduling after their one time will result in a $40 fee.

  • Weather-related rescheduling will be allowed if there is rain in the forecast or if the temperature is below 65 degrees.

  • In the unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies, it may be necessary to retain an alternative photographer. Afo’s Photos will make every effort to secure a replacement photographer able and/or willing to provide a similar package as chosen in this contract at the same/similar pricing. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability are limited to the return of all payments received for the shoot package. 

  • Afo’s Photos takes the utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation, and processing of photographs; including using professional-grade equipment and professional-grade backup equipment. However, in the unlikely event of the client’s photographs being lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons within or beyond Afo’s Photos control, the latter’s liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event package. The limit of liability shall not exceed the contract price stated herein. The limit of liability for a partial loss of originals shall be a prorated amount of the exposures lost based on the percentage of total number of originals.
